What the price is made of
A book is charged before it is written, by length. Anything on top of that is your choice — and you see it before you make it.
- One book€4.99The full text up to 9,600 words, a cover and narration. The outline and the cast are free to look at first.
- More length€0.99 eachPer 2,000 words started above the base length. A book of 8 chapters at 1,200 words each sits exactly on the line.
- Artwork€2.99A generated cover image instead of the coloured shape. Can be switched off.
- Glossary€0.99Non-fiction only: terms with the chapter that defines them.
- Re-check a chapter€0.99A fresh reading of one chapter against the story bible and the canon, plus the reviewer. Nothing in the text changes.
- Repair a chapter€0.99A rewrite of what a rewrite can address — at most two attempts per finding, and kept only if the same check finds less afterwards.
All prices are in credits, shown here as money. Credits never expire and there is no subscription.

Frequently asked
How do credits work?
One book costs 30 credits and includes the full text, a generated cover, and narration. Outline previews are always free, and credits never expire.
Can I read the book before paying?
You approve the full chapter outline before any credits are spent. After generation you can read and listen to the whole book instantly.
Who owns the books I create?
You do. Download, publish, or sell them anywhere — Fabelwerk keeps no rights to your stories.
Does every book get a cover?
Yes. Every book is bound with a generated cover — title, author, and a mood that matches the genre. You can regenerate it until it feels right.
What about audiobooks?
Every book comes narrated. It is read by the voices your device already has — pick one and switch anytime, even mid-chapter.
